How to setup voicemail
Once your extension has been setup up for you look for an email from Microsoft Outlook in your email. You will find a temporary voicemail PIN number in this email
Go to the phone that has your extension on it
Select your line
Press the Messages button
Enter the temporary voicemail PIN
Create a new voicemail PIN
To setup your greetings say: Personal Options
You will need to do each one of the 3 options listed below to completely change the voicemail account over to your name
1. Press 1 to record your personal greeting (Listen to the voice directions to set your greeting up. Once finished go back and proceed to step 2)
2. Press 2 to record your away greeting
3. Press 3 to record your name
Voicemail is forwarded to your Denton ISD email account. If you want the voicemail to also go to the phone for the red light feature you will need to put in a heat ticket requesting the red light feature to be turned on. If you do request this please be aware that you will have to delete your voicemail from both your email and from the phone.
How to access your voicemail from a different phone
From a Denton ISD district phone
Dial 1999
Press the * (Star Key)
Enter the last four digits of your extension
Enter your voicemail PIN then press the # Key
From a phone outside of the district
Dial 940-369-1999
Enter the last four digits of your extension
Enter your voicemail PIN then press the # Key
Voicemail Light on Phone
To turn the voicemail light off dial 5698
To turn the voicemail light on dial 5699
How to Reset the Voicemail PIN
You will need to send a Heat ticket to have the voicemail PIN reset
