Denton ISD is committed to moving students and staff forward in a 21st century learning environment. As part of this plan, Denton ISD will allow students, parents, and staff to access the internet using their own technology tools (laptops, Smart Phones, tablets, etc.) during the learning day.
With campus administration and classroom teacher approval, students may use their own devices in the classroom to access and save information online, communicate with other learners (via student provided email) and use cloud based productivity tools (for example: Google Apps, Office 365, and Kahoot!).Denton ISD supports connectivity to the district wi-fi on personal devices. For issues or concerns with your personal device outside the scope of connecting to the district wi-fi, please refer to your user’s manual, company where you purchased the device, or the manufacturer for assistance. Please note that Denton ISD’s wi-fi provides filtered Internet access and operates on a personal device in the same manner as a district owned device. Network drives and printers will not be available on a personal device.
