Want to join the Book Club?
Please visit the library for your
Book Club sticker and come to our
next meeting!
Book Clubs help students become stronger readers by combining collaborative learning with student-centered inquiry. The whole purpose of Book clubs is for students to read and discuss literature with their peers. Students take on roles during the meetings to facilitate discussion and comprehension. Clubs meet regularly and decide on a way to showcase their experience with the literary work for the rest of the class.
Join the Student Library Advisory Committee! Be a SLACker!
What is it?? I'm glad you asked!
It's a committee of students, parents, and staff who advise and support the library.
How do I join? Just sign up in the library, share your ideas, and help us keep our library neat.
We meet during Book Club - Friday lunches.
