Welcome to LaGrone Advanced Technology Complex

  • To keep pace in the rapidly changing world, Denton ISD opened the state-of-the-art LaGrone Advanced Technology Complex in 2006. It is a professional training facility to prepare high school students for today’s and tomorrow’s high-demand careers.

    The complex’s main purpose is to provide high school juniors and seniors with professional training and/or pre-college courses. Students also have the opportunity to earn university or community college credit and/or the necessary preparation to attain certifications or licenses in certain technical fields.

  • Proposed Bond Projects for LaGrone ATC

    The Denton ISD Board of Trustees voted unanimously to call a $750.5 million bond election to be held on May 5, 2018. The bond addresses student enrollment growth, renovations to facilities, equity, infrastructure, security systems, career & technical education and extracurricular activities.

  • ATC advanced welding students win national competition

    An advanced welding class from the LaGrone Advanced Technology Complex won $4,000 in cash and equipment, which will be used to help the program grow. Garrett Williams, Preston Simpson, Lane Stewart, Turner Osbun and Colby Wenger won Victor Technologies’ “A Cut Above” contest.
