If a student is absent, a written note must be submitted directly to the office within 72 hours of the student’s return to school. You may print this form to use as needed. Parents may also email the note to firstname.lastname@example.org Please do not give notes to the teacher; they must come directly to the office. Texas Student Attendance Laws will determine if the absence is excused, verified, unexcused, or unverified.Parents of students with excessive unverified absences and/or missed "parts of days" are in violation of the Texas Compulsory Attendance Law.
