It is indeed an honor to serve as the Assistant Principal at Ray Braswell High School, home of the Bengals.  I began working in the field of education in 1995, and I have truly enjoyed dedicating my life to the improvement of student life and education.

I have been blessed with the opportunity to work as an educator for over fifteen years, and my professional experiences span three states, college campuses, private sector, and K-12 schools.  My experience include; several years of successful progressive responsibilities in student affairs, academic affairs, budget management, grant writing, managerial experience, enrollment growth and special education.  I am a proud graduate of  Grambling State University where I earned my bachelors and masters degrees.  I am also a graduate of Texas Southern University where I earned my doctoral degree in 2001.  I am a lifelong learner with hopes of continuing to learn from each of you.

I am no stranger to opposition and challenges, and I am a very passionate servant leader that takes pride in utilizing my experiences to motivate and encourage others.  I have enjoyed serving as a faculty member where I was able to advise students, and I truly enjoy working in the classroom and I am convinced that everyone deserves an opportunity to succeed.

As a proud mother of three amazing children, I know the importance of Parents as Partners in the education process.  It is my goal to utilize my collegiate and public education experience to assist our Braswell Bengals in transitioning to the next level of achievement.  Please know that I look forward to working with you, and I am always just a phone call, email or visit away.
