I have been teaching in Denton ISD and at Hodge Elementary for 14 years.  I taught kindergarten for 5 years and then transitioned into the role of instructional coach.  I currently serve as an intstuctional coach for kinder, 1st, and 2nd grades.  I also serve as the Reading Recovery Teacher for Hodge.  I feel very lucky to work with the exceptional teachers and students at Hodge with a focus on reading.  Reading is my professional passion and my personal hobby and it is my goal to bring the joy of reading to all students!
