Welcome to the Adkin's Elementary Health Page!
Hi, my name is Kay Dodd and I am the school nurse at Adkins. I'm also known as "Nurse Kay", and I have been in the Denton School District for twenty-eight years. I was the school nurse at Woodrow Wilson for sixteen years, and spent two years at Pecan Creek. My background in hospital nursing includes obstetrics, labor and delivery, neonatal and pharmacology.I also have a degree in elementary education and have taught various grades in various states. In Denton, I taught fourth grade at Evers Park Elementary.I am looking forward to beginning an exciting new year at Adkins! We are all excited to start the new year in such a lovely building. I am very happy to be here and look forward to working with your children.I am available each school day from 7:20 - 3:20.
