Ms. Kayla Mills

Hi! My name is Ms. Mills.  Welcome to my webpage! I am looking forward to the 2018-2019 school year with both excitement and the anticipation of building relationships with new students and families.  I have been teaching in Denton for 13 years.  My primary focus, for the last 4 years, has been teaching reading, writing, and social studies to 5th graders at Nelson Elementary. The connection between the education your child has already received and what they will need to know as a 6th grader fuels my deep sense of responsibility to your student and my profession.  I am honored to be a part of your child's educational journey.
