  • Mr. Caleb Leath

I am honored to be the 6th principal of Woodrow Wilson Elementary.  Woodrow Wilson was established in 1960 and has had a long history of high academic achievement and I look forward to continuing this tradition.

A little bit about me:  I grew up in several different countries.  I lived in the Philippines, Puerto Rico, and then in Costa Rica for ten years.  We moved to Denton when I was 14 years old.  After graduating from Tarleton State University, I was an airline pilot for 4 years but then felt called into teaching.  I taught Special Education and English as a Second Language at Navo Middle School in Denton ISD.  During this time, I also completed my Master’s in Education Administration from Texas Woman’s University. I am currently in my 6th year as principal at Woodrow Wilson.  Prior to being named principal of Woodrow Wilson I was the assistant principal at Woodrow Wilson as well as Nelson Elementary in Denton ISD.

My wife and I have a 12 year old girl and a 10 year old boy.  In my spare time (usually at 5 A.M. on Saturday and Sunday mornings) I enjoy swimming, cycling and running.  My wife and I love to read, play board games, and travel.
