Hodge Elementary School

Welcome to Hodge!

       I am excited to serve the students, teachers, and families of Hodge Elementary as Principal.  I have 17 years of experience in education.  Having spent the last 10 years at Hodge, I am very dedicated to and passionate about supporting students and teachers with all of the hard work that they do every day.

       My career began as a fourth grade teacher in McKinney ISD.  Before finding my way to Denton, I also worked in Little Elm ISD.  I have also served students and teachers as a Reading Recovery Teacher, Interventionist, Instructional Coach, and Guidance Counselor.  

       I earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Learning and Development degree at The University of Texas at Austin prior to obtaining my Masters of Education in School Counseling from Dallas Baptist University.  I completed my Administrator Certification through the Region XI Service Center.

      Estoy emocionada de poder servir a los estudiantes, profesores y familias de la Primaria Hodge como directora. Tengo 17 años de experiencia en la enseñanza. Tras haber trabajado los  últimos 10 años en Hodge, estoy muy dedicada y apasionada para apoyar a los estudiantes y profesores con el trabajo duro que hacen cada día. 

      Mi carrera comenzó como maestra de cuarto grado en McKinney ISD. Antes de encontrar mi camino en Denton, trabajé también en Little Elm ISD. También he servido a estudiantes y profesores como profesora de Descubriendo la lectura, intervencionista, instructora de maestras y consejera estudiantil.

      Yo obtuve mi licenciatura en Ciencias con un título de Desarrollo del aprendizaje aplicado en la Universidad de Texas en Austin antes de obtener mi maestría en Educación en la Escuela de Consejería en la Universidad Bautista de Dallas. Completé mi certificación de administradora en el Centro de servicio de la Región XI.
