IMPACT Counselor
(Individuals Maximizing Positive Advocacy for Children and Teens)
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (License #60526) and have a Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Texas Woman's University. I have spent the past two decades working with children and families to address mental health and emotional issues. The 2022-23 school year will be my seventh year as the IMPACT Counselor here at Harpool. I am happy to help with any concerns students or parents may have, or just be a listening ear during difficult times. I will be leading small groups on several different topics, ranging from self-esteem to anxiety, and I will be teaching lessons on topics such as bullying, suicide prevention, substance abuse prevention, and healthy relationships.
My husband Bryan and I have been married for 22 years. We have two children: our daughter Brooke is an 8th grader at Harpool this year, and our son Jack is a freshman at Guyer. Our family also has 3 dogs: Tiger, Dottie, & Bella. I am active in my church, love working out at F45, and, as a family, we love to go flying, traveling, and swimming.
I love being a part of Harpool, and I look forward to working with the students and parents at our school this year.
