CH Collins

Denton ISD formed a Citizens’ Advisory Committee (CAC) to provide facility, equipment and infrastructure recommendations to the Denton ISD Board of Trustees. Visit the CAC website to learn more about the steps the committee took to develop its recommendation for a $750.5 bond package.

The Citizens' Advisory Committee (CAC) will meet regularly starting in September 2017 with Committee recommendations to be delivered to the Board of Trustees on January 23, 2018. Meetings are scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. in the Denton ID Board Room, located in the Stephens Central Services Center at 130/ Locust Street in Denton. Facility tours or additional meetings may be scheduled to allow committee members to see the facilities first-hand. To remain consistent with the values of the Denton ISD Board of Trustees and its administration, the CAC process will be open and transparent. All CAC meetings will be hosted and are open to the public. Non-committee members in attendance are invited to listen, but not verbally participate: however, a non-member is encouraged to submit his/her questions and/or comments in writing on note cards that will be available at the meetings. These questions will be shared with the committee members and answers will be communicated via email to guests who provide an email address on the note card.
