Adult Education & Literacy

North Texas Adult Education and Literacy (NTAEL), is a Texas Workforce Commission funded program that resides as a department of Denton ISD. NTAEL proudly serves Denton County by providing English as a Second Language (ESL), High School Equivalency (HSE), Career Pathway (CPW) certification classes, and Workplace Literacy.

NTAEL is an ongoing program that runs classes all year round with student enrollment every week and offers online and face-to-face classes in Denton County. We prepare adults for higher academic instruction or skills training that leads to employment and self-sufficiency.
