Our Mission

The Denton ISD Grants and Special Revenues Department manages grant and special revenue funds received from federal, state, local, and private sources. Our mission is to ensure these funds are used responsibly, transparently, and in support of the district’s goals, priorities, and student success.

What We Do

Our department supports the district by:

  • Ensuring grant and special revenue funds are spent in accordance with funding requirements and regulations.
  • Overseeing financial compliance for federal, state, local, and private funding sources.
  • Providing guidance and information related to external funding opportunities.
  • Supporting grant program planning and application development.
  • Serving as a central source for grant and special revenue information.
  • Communicating relevant funding information with district leadership and stakeholders.
