TIA 21st Century Learning AwardsLone Star TIA is proud to offer awards this year which are available to two special groups:1) High School Seniors and2) Educators who Work with Students
Student Scholarship Information
One $500 Student Scholarship will be awarded. Any 2012-2013 High School Senior is eligible to apply.The selected student will be required to supply Lone Star TIA (DPSF) with additional information following their announcement. The scholarship money will be given to the student's school of choice by Lone Star TIA (DPSF) on behalf of the student.The selected student must provide Lone Star TIA (DPSF) with the name, address and contact name of the school of choice no later than August 1, 2013.To be considered for a scholarship, the online application must be completed no later than June 3, 2012.CLICK HERE to access the application. | CLICK HERE to see application questions.
The recipient of the scholarship will be announced during Lone Star TIA at the Awards "Mix & Mingle" Reception on Tuesday, July 24 at 4:30pm and name with photo posted to our website following the announcement.

Educator Award Information
One $500 21st Century Learning Award will be bestowed. Any educator who work with students on a regular basis is eligible to apply.Lone Star TIA is most interested in knowing how educators integrate science, technology, engineering and mathematics with their present curriculum.All monies spent from this award must be used in the educator's classroom or with their work with students. The selected educator must provide Lone Star TIA (DPSF) with additional information of items purchased and will turn in all receipts by the following year on August 1, 2013.To be considered for a scholarship, the online application must be completed no later than June 3, 2012.CLICK HERE to access the application.
