Strutter Director:Keli Jones(940) 369-3116Keli started dancing at age three in Irving, TX and continued studio dancing most of her childhood. She attended Colleyville Heritage High School where she was a member of the Premier Panteras Drill Team and served as their Historian her senior year. She then traveled to Denton, Texas to begin her college education as a dance Major. While there, she was able to participate in many performances as a performer and choreographer. Keli was awarded a Bachelor's Degree of Dance in May of 2007. After gradation, she taught for three years in dance studios and young childcare. This will be her 10th year teaching Dance at RHS, and her 6th year as Director of the Strutters. She was the Assistant Director for the Strutters her first four years at Ryan. Keli looks forward to a long career dancing, choreographing and teaching.
Director’s Mission Statement:
I promise to work diligently to aid the Strutters in developing positive and selfless relationships with one another through mentoring and leading by example, establishing discipline to achieve goals through weekly accountability and charting of progress, developing and maintaining a healthy lifestyle through conditioning and stretching, and continually improving dance ability through practices, performances, contests, and Spring Show.
Strutter Assistant Director:Breana Murphy
Breana grew up in Cedar Park, TX and was involved in both school and competitive cheerleading for much of her life. She attended Cedar Park High School and served as Captain of her team her senior year. After graduating high school, Breana worked as a camp instructor for the Universal Cheer Association (UCA) for the Summers of 2007 and 2008. After graduating from the University of North Texas with her degree in Mathematics and a minor in Secondary Education, Breana started working at Ryan School in the Spring of 2013. She has worked at Ryan High School for the past 6 years. In that time, she has worked as the Assistant Director, for the Strutters, from June 2013 – December 2014. She then took over the school’s cheerleading program, as head coach, from January 2015 – May 2017. Breana stepped down from coaching, after the birth of her daughter, but is very excited to be apart of the Strutter organization again!
