Denton High percussion performing at TWU on March 3

Denton High School’s varsity percussion ensemble will take the stage at the Margo Jones Hall of Texas Woman’s University at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 3, as a kickoff for its participation in a prestigious national concert.

For the free performance, the Denton Bronco percussion ensemble will present the same program it plans to perform at the 2016 National Percussion Ensemble from March 10-12 in Indianapolis, Ind. The Bronco ensemble was selected as one of the top high school percussion groups in the U.S. and was extended an invitation to perform at this prestigious national event.

Margo Jones Hall, also referred to as the TWU music building, is located next to the Pioneer Woman Statue and circular entry drive at the west side of the university campus. Its address is 1111 Oakland St. in Denton.
