First district-hosted Assessment for Learning Conference set for June 7, 8

Educators from across the region are invited to Denton ISD’s first Assessment for Learning Conference, which will provide engaging professional learning on June 7 and 8 at Guyer High School.

The conference will feature nationally renowned keynote speakers Jan Chappuis, Cassie Erkens, Tom Schimmer and Ken Mattingly, each of whom are known for their work in assessment. To compliment the speakers, a variety of breakout sessions focused on assessment literacy will be available.

Registration is now open for educators outside of Denton ISD and can be found on the conference website at Registration for out-of-district attendees is $125 for one day or $225 for both days until April 30. From May 1 to May 31, registration is $150 for one day or $275 for both days. The conference is free to Denton ISD employees.
