Fred Moore High School will host its spring blood drive from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, with students, families and community members all welcome to participate.
Students who are 17 or older may donate without parent permission, while students who are 16 or younger must have a signed parental consent form to donate blood. The school's goal is to donate 20 units, and students who donate will earn a graduation cord.
Student sign-ups to donate blood will begin Monday, April 25. Families and community members are also invited to participate in the drive, which will take place at the school, located at 815 Cross Timber St. in Denton.
