Guyer Silverados hosting junior dance clinic on Oct. 15

Guyer High School’s dance team, the Silverados, will host their annual Junior Silvos Dance Clinic from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 15, at GHS Dance Studio and Wildcat Gym.

The dance clinic is open to students in kindergarten to eighth grade and will include personalized instruction, a Silverado t-shirt, and snacks. Participants are advised to wear comfortable shoes and clothing and bring water.

At the clinic, the girls will dance side-by-side with the award-winning Silverados, led by Director Rachel Simpson. There will be a “show-off” performance for family and friends beginning at 11:30 a.m.

All participants will also learn special choreography for a pre-game routine and perform that routine at the Wildcats varsity football game against Wylie on Friday, Oct. 21, at the C.H. Collins Athletic Complex.

Cost for the clinic is $30 and participants can register up until the day of the event. Sign-ups the day of the clinic will begin at 8:30 a.m. near the back entrance of the school and gym.
