Guyer Junior ROTC hosting military academy information session on Nov. 25

Guyer High School’s Junior Air Force ROTC program will host an information meeting for students interested in attending a military academy on Friday, Nov. 25, from 1 to 3 p.m. in the school’s library and lecture hall.

The meeting will cover the application process, academy life, what to expect and many other questions students and families may have about the military academies. A number of current and recent cadets and midshipmen from the U.S. Military Academy, Air Force Academy, Naval Academy and Merchant Marine Academy will be on site to answer questions and discuss their own experiences.
Students will be able to get information on each academy, compare and contrast each one and decide which school, if any, may be right for their post-secondary education.
Attendees are asked to park in the front of the school and enter through the main doors. Guyer Junior AFROTC cadets will direct students and their families to the proper locations.
