Denton ISD to host TIA Conference July 18 & 19 at Braswell

Denton Independent School District’s annual Lone Star TIA conference will take place Tuesday, July 18, and Wednesday, July 19, providing area educators and community members with sessions about how to use technology for education.

Lone Star TIA serves as a training ground for educators to learn about technology trends and how they can be used in the classroom. Sessions provided at TIA include both lecture-style courses to hands-on presentations. Additionally, vendors will provide demonstrations of educational technology products and services between and during sessions.

This year’s conference, which takes place at Braswell High School, located at 26750 E University Dr. in Aubrey, features New York Times best-selling author Dave Burgess and ICLE Senior Fellow and Thought Leader on Digital Leadership Eric Sheninger as keynote speakers.
