Myers Middle Hosts Bullying Prevention Speaker on Oct. 26


Myers Middle School is hosting Fabian Ramirez, a professional development trainer, in an effort to prevent bullying, drug abuse and dropping out of school at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 26 in the school cafeteria. The school is located at 131 Garza Road in Shady Shores.

Mr. Ramirez speaks to middle and high school students across the country and is regarded as one of the top speakers on bullying prevention in the nation. His message includes social and emotional learning techniques to help students build positive relationships.

Students at Myers will attend assemblies during the school day with Mr. Ramirez. He will address bullying, drug abuse and drop out prevention as it relates to the community and families during the evening event.
