Color Run to benefit district FFA programs on April 7

Registration for the Denton ISD FFA program’s color run on Saturday, April 7 is now open, with all proceeds for the event benefiting the FFA program directly.

The roughly 2-mile race will take place at LaGrone Advanced Technology Complex, located at 1504 Long Road in Denton, with participants running through color sprayers throughout the course to end the event colors than they began. Runners are encouraged to wear a white shirt that will show off the race’s many paint colors best. 

Early registration – which lasts until March 20 – is $25 plus a transaction fee, while registration after is $35 plus a transaction fee. To register, visit

Registration funds raised by the color run will go toward scholarships for graduating seniors, program travel and other expenses involved in each Denton ISD high school’s growing FFA chapter.

Check in for the April 7 race will begin at 8 a.m., with the run itself starting at 9 a.m. Registration materials can be picked up at the event.
