Teachers and staff from McMath Middle School will be hosting parent education workshops at the school for all middle school parents interested in developing better relationships with their children.
The four-part workshop will be conducted in separate sessions that can benefit all parents and will cover various topics including:
Saturday, Aug. 28, 10:00am-noon – How to be a parent, not a friend
Tuesday, Sept. 7, 6:30-7:30pm – Developmental stages of a middle school child
Saturday, Sept. 18, 6:30-7:30pm – Dealing with pop culture in today's societyTuesday, Sept. 28 - 6:30-7:30pm – Motivating your middle school student to succeed
All parent education sessions are free and childcare will be provided to parents attending the Saturday sessions.
