Denton ISD Voters Approve Proposition A According to Unofficial Results


According to unofficial voting results, voters approved Denton ISD’s Proposition A, with 52.93% voting in favor. This measure provides additional Maintenance & Operations funding for the district to address teacher and staff support, safety and security, and student programs and enrichment.

The approval of Proposition A reflects the community’s continued trust in Denton ISD’s teachers and staff who serve students each day and in the district’s commitment to providing strong, supportive learning environments across all schools.

Superintendent of Schools Dr. Susannah O’Bara expressed her gratitude to the community following the announcement of the unofficial results, saying, “We are deeply grateful for the trust and support shown by our community. This outcome reflects a shared belief in the incredible work happening in our classrooms and across our campuses every day. Our teachers and staff make a lasting difference for students, and we will continue building on that commitment together.”
