FMHS Interact Club Supports H2O for Life Project

Fred Moore High School’s Interact Club members wanted to be involved in helping others on a global level. The club’s sponsor, Denton South Rotary Club, is active in sponsoring water well projects, so it was a natural fit for students to support H2O for Life.

Through H2O for Life, Fred Moore students decided to raise funds for St. Michael’s Association for Special Education, the only school located on the Navajo Reservation dedicated to the care and education of children and adults with moderate to severe disabilities. Students will participate in a Penny War to help raise funds for needed carbon and membrane filters for a newly installed water filtration system to ensure that students and staff at the school have reliable access to safe, clean water.

But we also need your help. Students, staff, parents and community members can donate to this worthwhile cause on the H2O for Life donation page at https://www.h2oforlifeschools.org/sponsors/306.
