24-25 Teacher of the Year and Staff Member of the Year

Ms. Shoemake is an experienced teacher who strives to do well in all aspects of her job. Not only is she an amazing dyslexia interventionalist, but she is also a great help to classroom teachers. She collaborates with classroom teachers, by providing resources, tips, and tricks to help students who are already identified or having difficulties reading. Besides teaching in her classroom every day, Ms. Shoemake is one of the beautiful smiling faces students are greeted by every morning. She cares so much about her students and does everything she can to ensure each student reaches his or her full potential. She attends countless meetings, will do anything for anyone, and just goes above and beyond. We are fortunate to have a staff member as wonderful as Lindsay! The students, parents, and teachers just love her!
