Guyer Silverados hosting ‘spooktacular’ dance clinic on Oct. 31
Children in kindergarten through eighth grade interested in learning new dance moves are invited to the Guyer Silverados dance team’s annual Junior Clinic on Saturday, Oct. 31, when they can also enjoy some Halloween festivities.
Silverados members will lead clinic attendees through a variety of dances and games from 8:30-11:30 a.m., culminating in a performance for family and friends in Guyer High School’s Wildcat gym at 11:30 a.m. Children can show their Halloween spirit by wearing costumes to the clinic, though they should be in comfortable clothes, as they will be active throughout the day.
All activities will be done under the supervision of Rachel Simpson and Cali Hoffman, Silverados director and assistant director.
Registration, which includes a T-shirt and goodie bag, will be accepted on site beginning at 8:30 a.m. the day of the clinic. Parents can drop their children off behind the school, located at 7501 Teasley Lane in Denton.
For more information, please contact Ms. Simpson at rsimpson@dentonisd.org.
