  • Guyer High School symbolizes the commitment the citizens of Denton ISD have toward providing a quality education for young people in the community. It offers a variety of academics from Advanced Placement classes for state-of-the-art science, math and technology programs.

    There is a place and a special activity that fits the needs of each of its students as it provides numerous extra-curricular programs in academics, fine arts and athletics. The Guyer staff is committed to providing students with the skills they need to lead successful – and productive – lives.
     
    At Guyer, our mission is to provide an exceptional academic program for all students that integrates the intellectual, social, cultural and physical aspects of learning in a positive environment.

  • Public Comment Period on Federal Grant Applications:


    The Denton Independent School District is inviting parents, teachers, and community members to a meeting regarding its federal programs. At this meeting, DISD officials will review and gather input on the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) application, the Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education (CTE) Act application, and the federal Special Education (SPED) consolidated grant application. A form for submitting public comments will be available; and DISD officials will be present to take oral as well as written comments on the proposed applications.

    The meeting will be held in the school board room on Monday June 28, 2021 from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Attendees may enter the Denton ISD Central Services building located at 1307 North Locust Denton, TX 76201.

    Need a better way to manage all your account passwords? Our Single Sign-On Portal is available for Denton ISD students and staff members. This portal allows students and staff to save their sign-in information for a variety of services and websites to automatically sign into those services and websites in the future.

  • STAAR Test Scores:


    Click here to check your STAAR scores. You will be redirected to the Texas Assessment website. Click on the "Log in to Student Portal" button and enter your access code.

  • Inclement Weather Policy:


    Denton ISD attempts to make inclement weather announcements no later than 6:30 a.m. when possible. Closing announcements are made on the district website and social media channels. For more information on the district's weather policy, click here.
