The Lester Davis School DAEP
Empowering Lifelong Learners
Welcome to the Lester Davis School
The Lester Davis School is the district’s disciplinary Alternative Education Program. In 2004, the district moved the original DAEP school, Touchstone Academy, to its current location and then was renamed The Lester Davis School.
The goal of the teachers and administrators at Davis is to reinforce the importance of structure and discipline in the school day while emphasizing the value of a quality education.
The Denton ISD Board of Trustees voted unanimously to call a $750.5 million bond election to be held on May 5, 2018. The bond addresses student enrollment growth, renovations to facilities, equity, infrastructure, security systems, career & technical education and extracurricular activities.
