Welcome to Strickland Middle School

  • Strickland was built in 1968 as the second middle school in Denton ISD and is known for its many traditions and legacies. The school prepares today’s learners to be tomorrow’s leaders through its strong academic programs and many extracurricular clubs, organizations and events.

    Strickland students, family and staff believe in working together to develop a solid educational foundation. Students at Strickland can enroll in gifted and talented classes, career and technology courses, and even enroll in dual-language programs that build on English and Spanish language skills.

  • Proposed Bond Projects for Strickland Middle School

    The Denton ISD Board of Trustees voted unanimously to call a $750.5 million bond election to be held on May 5, 2018. The bond addresses student enrollment growth, renovations to facilities, equity, infrastructure, security systems, career & technical education and extracurricular activities.
