On April 2-4 2019, Denton ISD's four high school choral programs performed their UIL Region 2 Concert and Sight-reading Assessments. DISD choirs received a total of 22 First Division "Superior" ratings from UIL adjudicators and 9 of the choirs received the UIL Sweepstakes Award for earning a First Divsion rating in both the Concert and Sight-reading performances.
