On October 27 and 30, middle school band students representing Denton ISD performed in the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) Region 2 middle school band auditions, competing with over 1000 students from all across Region 2, which includes Argyle, Denton, Lake Dallas, Lewisville, and Northwest ISDs. A total of 24 DISD students were selected to the All-Region Middle School Band. The selected students will perform in the Region 2 Middle School Band Concert on Saturday, December 11 at Byron Nelson High School. 

Congratulations to these outstanding students for earning a position in the All-Region Band. Many thanks to their awesome band directors and private lesson teachers for helping them prepare for the auditions.
