On Saturday, October 15, orchestra students from Denton ISD’s high schools performed in the Texas Music Educators Association Region 2 Orchestra auditions. We are proud to announce that 32 outstanding Denton ISD students were selected for the TMEA Region 2 Orchestras and 13 of those students have qualified to submit an audition recording for an opportunity to advance to the TMEA All-State Orchestra.

These students who have made the All-Region Orchestras will perform in the TMEA Region 2 Orchestra Clinic and Concert on December 9-10 at Lewisville HS. The concert will take place Dec. 10 (time TBA).

Congratulations to these outstanding students for this achievement. Many thanks to their directors and private lesson teachers for helping these students prepare for the auditions. Best wishes to the students who have advanced to submit an All-State audition.
