Band students from Denton ISD’s high schools performed in the Texas Music Educators Association Region 2 High School Band auditions, competing with students from Argyle, Lake Dallas, Lewisville, and Northwest ISDs. We are proud to announce that 47 outstanding Denton ISD students were selected for the TMEA Region 2 HS Bands and 15 of those students have qualified for the final round of auditions at Area C for a chance at making the All-State Band.

These students who have made the All-Region HS Bands will perform in the TMEA Region 2 HS Band Clinic and Concert on January 13-14 at Guyer HS and Lake Dallas HS. Congratulations to these outstanding students for this achievement. Many thanks to their directors and private lesson teachers for helping these students prepare for the auditions.
