Students Work on Display at TASA/TASB Art Exhibit

Every year the Texas Association of School Administrators and Texas Assocation of School Boards (TASA/TASB) holds a fall Convention. This year the conference was at Kay Bailey Hutison Convention Center in Dallas, Texas. The Texas Art Education Association (TAEA) displays art from across the state in the exhibit hall during the conference to advocate for visual arts as an important component of a well-rounded education. At the TASA / TASB Convention, district leaders have the chance to visit an amazing student art exhibit, as well as participate in student artist-led interactive demonstrations! On Friday, September 29th students from Borman Elementary School and Adkins Elementary School were the selected student artist-led interactive demonstration. Students created art for the Denton Public School Foundation Groundhog Gala auction. Students artwork was on display in the exhibit too! The 8 student artworks selected for the TAEA Exhibit are listed below.
