Middle School UIL One-Act Play began with Zone A & B Contests on November 28 & 29, 2023. The Zone A Contest selected 3 advancing schools; Cheek Middle School, Calhoun Middle School, and Rodriguez Middle School. Cheek Middle School won the Best Technical Crew award, and Best Performer awards went to Charlie Abernathy of Rodriguez Middle School and Genevieve Bone of Calhoun Middle School. The Zone B Contest selected 3 advancing schools; Myers Middle School, McMath Middle School, and Harpool Middle School. Harpool Middle School won the Best Technical Crew Award, and Best Performer awards went to Ben Scott of McMath MS and Carlynn Grindle of Harpool MS. 

The District Middle School One-Act Play Contest took place on Saturday, December 2 at Ryan High School. Contest winners are listed below.
