Welcome to Denton High School

  • Dedication, Honor, Success: We Are DHS
    An International Baccalaureate World School

Denton High symbolizes the school district’s signature school with a strong heritage that has evolved over the years since the first Denton High opened in 1884. The Denton Bronco fan base includes thousands of proud graduates who are now physicians, artists, scientists, actors, math professors, athletes and other top professionals.

Denton High is an International Baccalaureate World School – one of only 50 IB high schools in Texas to offer this challenging academic curriculum. In other programs, students can explore a variety of interests through the school’s numerous extra-curricular activities in academics, fine arts and athletics.

  • BrightBytes Technology Survey

DISD is partnering with BrightBytes, an educational technology company, in order to learn more about our students’ school and home technology use for learning. A survey titled “Clarity” will be available for you to complete starting Monday, 2/5/18. The window for taking the survey will last two weeks. Your participation is essential in helping us form a more complete picture of technology use for learning in Denton ISD. Please know that all of your responses will remain anonymous to protect your privacy.
