Blanton Elementary, built in 2008, is named after Annie Webb Blanton, the first woman in Texas elected to a state office. The school serves children in northern Lantana. At Blanton Elementary, our mission is to work collaboratively to ensure high levels of learning for all students while inspiring and empowering them to become safe, respectful and caring learners.
The school motto exemplifies the outstanding learning environment of the school: building dreams, empowering minds, and strengthening our community. Blanton Elementary is where a knight's quest for knowledge begins.
Blanton Elementary will host a special program focusing on internet safety and social media awareness for parents Tuesday, Jan. 10, in the school cafetorium. The session will begin promptly following a brief PTA meeting at 6 p.m.
