Welcome to Myers Middle School

Named after Dr. Bettye Myers, a public education advocate and community leader, Myers Middle School strives to create a "home away from home" atmosphere for students and their parents by giving them many opportunities to be involved. The school, which is located in Shady Shores adjacent to Olive Stephens Elementary, aims to build an environment filled with enthusiastic learners and leaders that are prepared for tomorrow.

  • 2015 - 2016 InfoSnap online student registration to re-launch July 27

    Denton Independent School District’s online student registration system, infosnap, will re-launch July 27 - 31. Snapcodes for RETURNING students will go out via email during this time. Infosnap allows parents/guardians to complete student registration via the web.

  • Bettye Myers MS Summer Hours

    BMMS Office will be open during the summer Monday thru Thursday from June 8th thru July 30th. Our office hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm each day. We will be closed for lunch from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. Our campus will be closed Wednesday July 1st thru Monday July 6th, 2015.

  • District student's artwork now hanging in Mellow Mushroom

    Outgoing Myers Middle School eighth-grader and incoming Ryan High School freshman Jordyn Wiley now has a mural hanging in Denton's Mellow Mushroom, where it will be displayed for a year.

  • Schedule Pick - Up

    Click on the link above for information on registration and schedule pick up times for BMMS. Students whose parents complete the online process and turn in all necessary paperwork will be able to pick up schedules and start school on August 24th.

  • 6th Grade Titan Camp

    ALL Incoming 6th graders are encouraged to join us for fun activities, stock your locker, tour the building, walk your schedule, and meet your teachers.

  • Stock your locker

    Come to school on Friday, August 21 to get your locker stocked and ready for the school year. 7th and 8th grade will both stock lockers from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm. 6th grade students will stock their lockers during Titan Camp.

    Myers Middle School eighth-grader Jordyn Wiley’s design for a mural will soon be seen by hundreds of patrons of a local restaurant, as it will be featured for a year in Denton’s Mellow Mushroom.

  • Registration Codes: Parents or guardians of returning Denton ISD students will begin receiving snapcodes for InfoSnap online student registration the week of July 27.   • Braswell High School: Construction on Denton ISD's fourth comprehensive high school is currently underway in the eastern portion of the district. Dr. Ray Braswell High School will be located on the southeast corner of Navo Road and U.S. Highway 380 and is scheduled to open in time for the 2016-17 school year.
