Named after Dr. Bettye Myers, a public education advocate and community leader, Myers Middle School strives to create a "home away from home" atmosphere for students and their parents by giving them many opportunities to be involved. The school, which is located in Shady Shores adjacent to Olive Stephens Elementary, aims to build an environment filled with enthusiastic learners and leaders that are prepared for tomorrow.

Partners in Parenting Program is designed to provide support, resources, and parenting skills for all parents in the community. Counselors and staff from the following schools will be present to provide assistance: Myers Middle School, Stephens Elementary, and Rivera Elementary
Artwork created with recycled materials by students from Myers Middle School was recognized by the city of Denton’s “Trash into Art” contest on Friday, Dec. 5. Photos of the student artwork were displayed in the Denton County Courthouse on the Square for the annual holiday lighting festival.
Please send your used inkjet or laserjet toner cartridges and cell phones with your student or drop them off in our collection box in the Bettye Myers school office. Funding Factory gives us cash for used printer cartridges and cell phones that can be remanufactured and reused in order to keep them out of landfills.
