Health Occupation Students of America-Future Healthcare Professionals

    HOSA

Meetings are held on Tuesdays after school in room 245. Members who cannot make the meeting may come by during morning tutorials to get a meeting update on Wednesdays.

HOSA is a national student organization endorsed by the U.S. Department of Education and the Health Science Technology Education Division of ACTE. HOSA's two-fold mission is to promote career opportunities in the health care industry and to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people. HOSA's goal is to encourage all health occupations instructors and students to join and be actively involved in the HSTE-HOSA Partnership.

Besides being great fun, our HOSA program has historically been very effective in providing support for “Autism Speaks”, education for elementary students, and lots of opportunities for leadership and learning through HOSA competitive events.

In the past, our HOSA members placed first at the International Leadership Conference in Orlando, FL.
