  • About Blanton Elementary

Named after Annie Webb Blanton, the first woman in Texas elected to state office, Blanton Elementary is one of Denton ISD's three schools in Lantana, serving the community's northern residents as well as residents from the surrounding areas.

In addition to top-tier academics, Blanton prides itself on its fine arts offerings, including the school's Squire Choir and Royal Chamber Orchestra. Students at Blanton also have a variety of opportunities to participate in various activities, such as the school's robotics program or running club. Parents are similarly welcome in the Blanton community, with several programs and events available to be involved at the school, such as Family Nights, Watch D.O.G.S. and the Noble Knights Fun Run.

At Blanton, teachers and staff strive for a collaborative environment where students are empowered to become safe, respectful and caring leaders. The school creed exemplifies the outstanding learning environment fostered at the campus: building dreams, empowering minds and strengthening our community. Blanton Elementary is where a knight's quest for knowledge begins.
