At Harpool Middle School, each student is encouraged to succeed. It provides a place where adolescents can start developing lifelong learning skills for today’s and tomorrow’s world. As the district’s newest middle school, it’s a facility where students continue to build their own traditions and legacies.
Harpool Middle School is designed with three two-story wings – one for each grade level. Each wing includes three science labs and has wireless, mobile computer services. Just as its namesake, Tom Harpool, was involved in the community, Harpool students have many links to the community through Adopt-A-School partnerships, PTA, school volunteers and more.
The Harpool Middle School Orchestra recently performed a piece composed by a retired Denton High director at the 2014 National Orchestra Festival in Louisville, Ky. The orchestra originally planned to honor retired director Carold Nunez at the competition in Kentucky but will now honor him March 19 in Denton.
