As technology rapidly progresses, so too do the types of jobs available. To help prepare students for such trends, Denton ISD schools recently participated in “Hour of Code,” a global initiative designed to teach children basic technology programming.
Teachers and staff at Navo Middle School recently celebrated 18 students for demonstrating exceptional responsibility at a breakfast reception. They were honored as Students of the Month for October.

To prevent accidents with middle school students riding bicycles with motor vehicles, Denton ISD has a way to begin to educate our parents and students about bicycle safety. It is a short, but very informative, four page pamphlet dealing with bike safety that would benefit all riders, children and adults.
