Welcome to Crownover Middle School

Established in 2002, Crownover Middle School is known for its professional and friendly learning environment, along with its broad range of academic courses. Crownover offers a wide range of classes, from gifted and accelerated classes to strong arts, technical and athletic programs.

Crownover’s motto, “our students, our future,” ties into the school’s philosophy of engaging the students, families and staff in the overall educational process. Crownover was the first Denton ISD school built in Corinth and sponsors many joint community projects.

    On this page you will find a copy of the State of Texas 2014-15 School Report Card (released in late 2015) for Crownover Middle School. This report is required by the Texas Legislature and prepared by the Texas Education Agency, the state government’s office that oversees public education. The information is provided to the parent or guardian of every child enrolled in a Texas public school.

  • Math teacher named winner in national technology contest

    Robert (B.J.) Garcia, a seventh grade math teacher and coach at Crownover Middle School, was recently named a state winner in the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow contest for his proposal of developing a disaster relief pod with students in his classes.

    Mrs. Robin Zaruba, 7-1 Math Teacher is our 2016-2017 RCMS Teacher of the Year! Mrs. Zaruba will have a chance to compete for secondary Teacher of the Year for the district and possibly statewide.   • Single Sign-On Portal: Need a better way to manage all your account passwords? A Single Sign-On Portal is now available for Denton ISD students and staff members. This portal will allow students and staff to save their sign-in information for a variety of services and websites so they can use it to automatically sign into those services and websites in the future.
