Welcome to Crownover Middle School

Established in 2002, Crownover Middle School is known for its professional and friendly learning environment, along with its broad range of academic courses. Crownover offers a wide range of classes, from gifted and accelerated classes to strong arts, technical and athletic programs.

Crownover’s motto, “our students, our future,” ties into the school’s philosophy of engaging the students, families and staff in the overall educational process. Crownover was the first Denton ISD school built in Corinth and sponsors many joint community projects.

    Order your student's school supplies for the 2016-2017 school year today! DEADLINE TO ORDER IS JUNE 26, 2016! Each supply pack is customized by the teachers of Crownover Middle School.   • Boys Athletics Meeting

    Attention all 7th and 8th grade boys who will participate in athletics will need to attend a special meeting and equipment check-out on Wednesday, August 17th. Football equipment check-out will begin at 5:00 p.m. in the competition gym. The parent meeting for all boys athletics will follow at 6:00 p.m. in the competition gym.   • 6th Grade Cowboy Roundup

    All incoming 6th graders come out to Cowboy Roundup on Thursday, August 18th from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Not only will you meet your teachers and make new friends, we will also have a hotdog cook-out and planned activities to give you some inside tips on how to be a successful Cowboy at Crownover Middle School.   • 7th and 8th Grade New Student Orientation

    All new 7th and 8th grade students new to Crownover come out to New Student Orientation on Thursday, August 18th from 11:00 am – 1:00 p.m. Orientation will be held in the RCMS Library where you will get inside tips on how to be a successful Cowboy at Crownover Middle School and enjoy a hotdog cook-out!     Attention all Cowboys--Thursday, August 18th, bring your school supplies and STOCK YOUR LOCKER! Place school supplies in your locker, practice your locker combination, and walk through your schedule.   • ECG/EKG for Student Athletes

    UPDATED INFORMATION...Parents of RCMS athletes -ECG/EKGs will not take place during registration as planned. RCMS will be taking $15/parent waiver during registration for exams to be held August 25th. An ECG/EKG screen help identify young athletes who are at risk for sudden cardiac death, a condition where death results from an abrupt loss of heart function.   • Intra-District Transfer Application Available: If your middle or high school student wishes to attend a campus that he or she is not zoned for, it is necessary to fill out the intra-district transfer form. The PDF file to apply for an intra-district transfer for the 2016-17 school year is located here. More information regarding transfers can be found on the Student Support Services website.

  • Single Sign-On Portal: Need a better way to manage all your acount passwords? A Single Sign-On Portal is now available for Denton ISD students and staff members. This portal will allow students and staff to save their sign-in information for a variety of services and websites so they can use it to automatically sign into those services and websites in the future.

  • Registration Codes: Parents or guardians of returning Denton ISD students will receive snapcodes for InfoSnap online student registration over the summer. Following online registration, proof of residency and updated immunization records must be submitted to a student's campus. Additional information on the registration process will be provided after the current school year. For families new to the district, the same link will allow registration of students immediately.

  • Braswell High School: Construction on Denton ISD's fourth comprehensive high school is currently underway in the eastern portion of the district. Dr. Ray Braswell High School will be located on the southeast corner of Navo Road and U.S. Highway 380 and is scheduled to open in time for the 2016-17 school year.
