Welcome to Crownover Middle
-
Opened in 2002, Crownover Middle School is named for Dr. Ronny W. Crownover, a civic leader and veterinarian in the Denton community – and a Texas State Representative.
Dr. Crownover founded the Lake Dallas Veterinary Clinic and was a member of the Denton High School athletic booster club. In 1999, Dr. Crownover was elected to the Texas House of Representatives, representing District 64. He passed away in 2000 due to complications from leukemia while still in office.
Like its namesake, Crownover Middle School is known for its professional and friendly learning environment. Crownover’s mascot is the Cowboys, and it was the first Denton ISD school built in Corinth. The school serves students in the Guyer High School attendance zone.
