We are proud to offer a variety of after school club opportunities at Shultz Elementary. Families can learn about club options at the links below and complete the Shultz Afterschool Club Interest Form by Friday, August 29th to express their interest in one or more clubs for their children, in order of preference. Please complete one form for each student.
Please note that two of our outside-of-school clubs, GOAL and Teach Denton, are not clubs that parents sign up for. Rather, students are invited to join these clubs based on teacher and staff recommendations.
Club leaders will email families in early September to let them know which club(s) their children were selected for, and which they were not. There are a limited number of spots in each club, and unfortunately there is not always space for all who express interest. Club leaders will work together to ensure as many students as possible have the chance to participate in after school clubs.
Most clubs will begin in mid-September. Club leaders will share additional information and expectations with families before their club starts. Parents must sign a consent form before a student can begin participating in clubs at school. It is important to remember that participation in after school clubs is considered a privilege, and students can lose the opportunity to participate in clubs if expectations for behavior and participation are not met.
Some clubs will accept new students at other points in the school year. After September, families are welcome to email club leaders directly to express their interest if spots become available.
